Today was Day 1 of our Truth in the Tinsel adventure.

The kids loved it!! We read about The Light of the World and discussed having light in our hearts and showing kindness in our everyday life, as our practical meaning.

Logan is getting ready to put his back on.

The the kids made the Candle ornament. The ornament was the perfect level for the kids. They could do it mostly by themselves and it turned out successful!!

Then we decided to use a little tabletop tree as our Advent Tree. Every day we will decorate it with our ornament.

The finished product turned out like this.

The whole thing scripture and making the ornament took us about 30 minutes. The perfect amount of time for their attention spans.
